The Customs and International Trade team at PwC Poland consists of 12 specialists in Polish tax law and European Union customs law. We support our clients in various areas of activity by interpreting customs regulations, including VAT regulations, representing them before customs and tax authorities in ongoing proceedings, and automating processes using technology. We are looking for a Manager to join our team. Your future role will involve: supervising and implementing consulting projects in broadly understood tax advisory and customs law (including: customs and tax planning, customs and tax reviews, classification and origin analyses, representation before tax authorities and administrative courts (tax audits, assessment proceedings), tax and customs aspects of mergers and acquisitions, obtaining and modifying permits), building and maintaining relationships with business clients, participating in creating a portfolio of services offered to business clients, cooperating with PwC offices in Poland and abroad - building an international network of contacts and participating in global initiatives, coordinating team work and developing junior employees, direct cooperation with the Director and Partner of the team, as well as developing your further expertise. Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in tax advisory and customs law, along with corresponding expertise in national and European customs and VAT regulations (with consideration of TSUE jurisprudence).
- Excellent command of Polish and English (minimum B2 level) allowing for fluent cooperation with business clients.
- Enjoys challenges, a dynamic environment, and a fast pace of action.
- Characterized by responsibility, client orientation, commitment, communicativeness, and analytical skills.
- Experience in project management and close cooperation with business clients.
- Demonstrates knowledge of new technologies and AI-based tools in daily work (e.g., task automation, information analysis, content preparation).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Customs agent, tax advisor, or legal advisor license.
